The New Zealand Fire Brigades' Institute Scholarship provides the opportunity for the recipient to travel and study. Study could include courses recognised at a university or training establishment, or a secondment at an overseas fire and emergency service to gain first-hand experience of an initiative that is unique or project that might well be applicable in New Zealand.

The New Zealand Fire Brigades' Institute scholarship was established to further the development
of members by providing the opportunity to undertake research or study in a field of interest
that will have benefits not only to the recipient, but to those who work in fire and emergency
related sectors.

New Zealand Fire Brigades' Institute Scholarship:

Applications are now called for the 2023 New Zealand Fire Brigades' Institute Scholarship.

This scholarship is open to all members of fire forces and brigades affiliated to the United Fire Brigades' Association.

The Scholarship provides the opportunity for the recipient to travel and study. Study could include courses recognised at a university or training establishment, or a secondment at a relevant fire and emergency service to gain first-hand experience of an initiative that is unique or project that might well be applicable to or be able to be further developed within a New Zealand setting.

Applications close on Friday 28 July 2023.
